Summary Science fiction epics in which an inter-galactic superhero named Starman battles alien evildoers in the kind of scientifically-askew universe where one can easily breathe the fresh air of outer space. Complete with corny costume, super strength, and the ability to fly from planet to planet, Starman clobbers the bad guys with a frenzied fighting style that looks like a cross between martial arts and a berserk ballet. Trying to get a spare part of their daddy's rocket ship, two kids stumble upon an "Attack from space" when they're captured by Space Fascists from the Sapphire Galaxy. "The most brilliant mind in the universe" tries to conquer the earth with an army of mutants, monsters, mad doctors, and a "super germ" that turns into a white-faced-witch-like woman with killer-claws in "Evil brain from outer space."
Note Special features include the shorts "My milkman, Joe" and "Prince planet" (episode of a cartoon show), the essay "The original Starman : the forgotten supergiant of steel who fought for peace, justice and the Japanese way" by August Ragone, and theatrical trailers.
