"The title of the sixth edition has changed to "Hensley's Practical Approach to Cardiothoracic Anesthesia" to honor Rick Hensley (see Dedication) and to acknowledge the incorporation of noncardiac thoracic anesthesia topics, which was actually done in previous editions without titular recognition. This edition also adds 19 links to video clips spread across Chapters 11, 12, and 19. In addition to the Key Points at the beginning of each chapter, all chapters now include several Clinical Pearls, which are short, key clinical concepts located in the text section where their subject matter is presented.
