Note Series B has title: Old family letters relating to the yellow fever.
Series A contains letters of John Adams, all but the first two addressed to Dr. Benjamin Rush; one letter from Samuel Adams, one from John Quincy Adams, and several from Thomas Jefferson addressed to Dr. Rush; "Letter of credence to the king" and "Letter of credence to the queen" by George Washington as president. Series B contains letters of Dr. Benjamin Rush to his wife, written during the yellow fever epidemic in Philadelphia, in 1793.
