| Summary |
"Driving to a weekend getaway, a car breakdown strands Don and Nancy while passing through a small, rural Louisiana town. The town's inhospitable Sheriff finds the couple on the roadside and, telling them there'll be no one to repair their car before morning, he directs them to a nearby motel for the night. Checking into the seedy, rundown establishment, Don and Nancy have no way of knowing how this place deals with outsiders. The hapless young couple soon discover that there is no escape from this town where corrupt law enforcement, and sick and violent rednecks rule. Badge aside, the Sherriff answers to local business man Carter, as do a gang of masked torturers and killers. By the time Don and Nancy realise what's happening, it's too late to flee.
