With reproduction of the dedication of the 1613 edition and the original t.-p.: The first booke of songes or ayres or fowre partes with tableture for the lute; so made that all partes together, or either of them seuerally may be song to the lute, orpherian or viol de gambe. Also an inuention for two to playe vpon on lute. [London] 1597.
For solo voice. Two versions of each song are given: one with lute accompaniment in modern notation and in tablature, and one with accompaniment arranged for piano. The altus, tenor and bassus parts are omitted.
