Summary The cowboy and the senorita: Chip (Mary Lee) has inherited a supposedly worthless gold mine from her father, and town boss John Hubbard is about to buy it. Suspecting the mine may be valuable, Roy investigates and finds a hidden shaft containing the gold. With a posse chasing him on a trumped up robbery charge, Roy races to town with ore samples hoping to get there before the ownership is transferred.
Biography Riding his horse Trigger and often teamed with his friend George "Gabby" Hayes, Roy Rogers starred in numerous westerns. "Cowboy and the Senorita" (1944) was the first film to team Rogers with Dale Evans (playing Chip's cousin, Ysobel Martinez). Rogers and Evans married in 1947.
