Summary |
James Fulbright is a discredited electronics engineer whose company seems to have gone into bankruptcy through his own ineptitude. However, Fulbright soon begins to realize that there are deeper reasons than meet the eye for his failure. He uncovers a plot whose very monstrosity makes it all but impossible to believe. If he is correct, an egg-shaped thing that started as the creation of a group of atomic scientists has now enslaved their minds, and its increasing pulsations may destroy the world by upsetting all known concepts of space and time. |
