Summary |
Xinyue and his brother Qiliu are seekers who hunt for aweto, a rare, plantlike treasure that cures all illness. To achieve their goal, the seekers must steal the aweto from massive earth deities from which aweto sprouts. But when Xinyue finds a child of one of the deities, he becomes its caretaker. He commits himself to protecting the child and keeping it a secret, but warriors from the deity's village are in pursuit, and he soon learns the truth behind why his brother so desperately wants to find aweto. |
