However, due to his old age, he becomes laid off from the company. -- [v.2] The story of a family torn apart by conflicting loyalties during and after the Korean War. -- [v.4] About a family who opens a mountain lodge in a remote area. When all of the lodge's guests begin turning up dead, the family resorts to desperate measures. -- [v.5] Tells the story of a contemporary family that turns to infidelity to cope with pressures from inside and outside the home. -- [v.7] Kang-du and his family have a small concession stand at Han River Park, Tunch'i. While he is serving beers to his customers, he witnesses the monster hanging and jumping into the water from one of Han River's bridges. The monster starts chasing and killing people along the river bank. Kang-du and an American soldier fight against the monster but the monster continues killing at the riverside park and takes Kang-du's daughter, Hyon-so, with it. Hyon-so's family declares their own battle with the monster to rescue Hyon-so from the monster. -- [v.8] Wan-deuk is a soft-spoken rebel who has all the makings of an at-risk youth. He comes from a poor family and is a quiet loner, who best expresses himself with his fists. He waits for the day he can escape the watchful eye of his meddling teacher and neighbor, Dong-ju. Dong-ju takes a particular interest in his young neighbor's life. One day, he blindsides Wan-deuk with some unexpected information: The mother Wan-deuk never knew is a Filipino immigrant and she wants to see him. |
