Summary A collection of short films originally produced in the 1940s to 60s. Everybody Knows wants workers to stop being so greedy and to realize that every time a worker wants a raise, it hurts someone else. Lifeline of the Nation explains that if there were ever a nuclear attack in this country, we'll need railroads to handle the critical transportation problems. The First Hours of Ownership (featuring Bill Baird's Marionettes), How To Get Where You Want To Go, and The Number 1 Team all look at working in a Chevrolet dealership while the final two films give theater-goers a chance to win cash and prizes.

Note Everybody Knows (color) wants workers to stop being so goddamn greedy! Every time a worker wants a raise, it hurts someone else. Look at the factory Bill was once employed by. The workers kept demanding more money so the factory kept raising the prices and shrinking their profits until -- Poof! No more factory! Then everybody suffers. Even the little old lady who was a stock holder and needed those dividends. Nevertheless, Bill keeps trying to figure out what happened but he just can't figure out productivity. (He's a bit dense.) So if you're working, be glad you've got a job and stop wanting more!
Lifeline of the Nation (1958; color) explains that if there were ever a nuclear attack in this country, we'll need railroads to handle the critical transportation problems.
The First Hours of Ownership (color) gives us Alphonso (BARNEY MARTIN, Jerry's dad on Seinfeld) stumbling across two pussycat puppets in the park. (And not just any old pussycat puppets, mind you, but BILL BAIRD'S MARIONETTES.) Al tells them about how he's working at a Chevy dealership in which the service department and the sales department aren't working together. So the puppets give him a vision of just how bad a dealership like this can be.
How To Get Where You Want To Go (1962; color) is an inside look at why being a Chevrolet salesman is one of the Greatest Jobs in the Whole Wide World. And look! FRED MACMURRAY (My Three Sons) is the guy who tells you how to do it!
The Number 1 Team (1967; color) ties the history of the automobile with the sheer delight of selling Chevys.
The Gamecock Bonanza (color) and World Wide Quiz (1952; b&w) give theater-goers a chance to win cash and big prizes.
