Lawyer Betty Anne Robinson, the only black in a Florida law firm, suffers a double setback when, first, the firm appoints a racist associate, secondly, her boyfriend turns out to be a rake. Fortunately, there is the Internet and on it she meets Andrew, a black man with looks and money.
