Summary
Dealing with social problems has always been one of the core tasks of social work. But what are its limits and possibilities? In social work, the emergence and change of social assistance is analyzed from different perspectives. Using empirical examples, the volume takes a look at the tension between organization and disorganization as well as between institutionalization and deinstitutionalization processes.
