Biography Professor Peter Schwartz is Head of the Polymer and Fiber Engineering Department at Auburn University, USA. He has published numerous scientific publications in the area of fibre and material behaviour and is a member of many societies including the Materials Research Society and the Fibre Society.
Summary Textile structure and mechanics are fundamental to the way textiles are designed, manufactured, tested and used.
