Summary |
"Season 4 offers a rare glimpse of Mama Harper as a young housewife with daughter Eunice and son Ving in a flashback sequence instigated by Bubba's late-night beer-drinking antics. After plenty of fumin' and fightin', Bubba and his grandma finally see eye to eye. Elsewhere, Bubba goes from prom dud to prom stud with two dates to choose from. Mama can't resist getting involved, just as she still can't resist a bargain. When Thelma gets hooked on K-RAY Teleshopper, zirconia jewelry adorns her body and scads of tele-trinkets clutter her living room. She's a shopaholic, and her family applies a little aversion therapy to break the spell. Hope springs eternal for Mama. Her dream of singing "Raytown, O Raytown" at the Founder's Day celebration just might be fulfilled. And, her recently departed Uncle Oscar has left something valuable for his favorite niece. But Mama's best chance at the big time arrives with her appearance on Jeopardy! Alex Trebek is the real winner once she plants a big kiss on his lips." -- back of container. |
