Summary |
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is committed to transformation, with the aim of becoming an increasingly Veteran-centric, results-oriented, and forward-looking organization. Secretary Shinseki has charged the Women Veterans Task Force with developing a comprehensive VA action plan in how our organization serves women Veterans, a timely effort given the rapid growth in the women Veteran population. This draft strategy report represents the first phase in the development of such a comprehensive action plan. The urgency of this effort is acute, given the rapid growth of the women Veteran population. |
