"One hundred numbered copies ... have been signed by the editor, Beda von Berchem." This copy neither numbered nor signed.
Spurious letters which purport to give authentic information about Hus, first appeared in serial form in 1845 in the Stuttgart Stadtglocke, Nr. 169-202, and in book form in 1846 under the title: Hussen's letzte Tage und Feuertod. The names of the editor and publisher of the present work seem to be fictive. Cf.
