The author tells the story of the Curtiss JN4-D "Jenny" which was manufactured during WWI and trained most of the Army pilots of that era. He describes the career of one Jenny and its owner, the Army pilot, Ray McWhorter, who barnstormed through the Midwest. The author bought and restored this Jenny.
