Summary Only a handful of Titian's final paintings remain in existence, dispersed through galleries around the world. And there are no dates or documentation attached to any of them. We don't know precisely when they were painted, why and for whom. One of them was discovered only relatively recently, hanging in a remote monastery in the Czech Republic.
