Summary |
A writer meets Edgar Allan Poe and Lord Blackwood at an inn. They bet him that he can't spend the night alone in a certain castle on All Soul's Eve. On that night, every person who ever died there re-enacts his deaths. He meets the beautiful Elizabeth Blackwood and discovers she has no heartbeat. He sees several horrible murders replayed by the dead inhabitants. When he discovers that they plan to kill him for his blood he runs outside and is impaled on an iron fence.
