Summary The shape of the future: Israeilis and Palestinians, both dignitaries and ordinary citizens, discuss various ideas about how peace can come about between them. The interviews reveal that on both sides, there is empathy with the other's concerns, willingness to work toward a compromise, and hope in spite of great difficulties.
Onward, Christian Zionists: Author Irving Wesley Hall and Evangelical theologian Rev. Donald Wagner describe and discuss Christian Zionism, a belief system that has led many Americans, including politicians, to support war between the state of Israel and its neighbors, based on the idea that Israel's triumph (followed by its own annihilation) will usher in the end times.
At home in the enemy country: In the Israeli town of Abu Gosh, Arab Israeli Jawdat Ibrahim and his family used his lottery winnings to open the Abu Gosh Restaurant. Ever since, the restaurant has served as a peaceful, comfortable place where Jews and Arabs can come together, enjoy their common cuisine, and get to know each other.
