Summary |
Contains three graphic novel short stories about the topic of taboo and rules in Japanese culture. First, a young boy named Taro saves a sea turtle and is given a magical box that allows him to visit the Dragon Palace under the sea whenever he wants, the only rule is that he can never open the box. Next, two monks are left in charge of a temple and told not to open a pot that contains deadly poison. Then, a man saves a mysterious young woman during a snowstorm who is a skilled weaver, but she makes him promise to never watch her while she's weaving. |
