The five individuals interviewed all worked at the Kansas Army Ammunition Plant (known during World War II as the Kansas Ordnance Plant) between 1941 and 1945. They were: Harold Cooper, James C. Gerdes, Josephine Habiger, Robert R. Oxford, and Maxine L. Larsen.
