As also, a brief history, authenticated by original letters, of the treatment which the editor has met with from certain booksellers and printers in Dublin. "Address to the public" (v. 7, p. 424-442) [published separately as "An address to the public, on the treatment which the editor of the history of Sir Charles Grandison has met with" (1754)] deals with Faulkner's broken contract to publish the Irish edition of Richardson's novel. cf.
