Wulfgar, having been imprisoned for six years, is finally freed from the Abyss and finds he is apathetic and cannot fight as he once did, while Drizzt and Canni-brie try to ignore their mutual feelings while joining Wulfgar on a journey to destroy the power of Errtu's evil artifact Crenshinibon.
