Summary This report to Congress by the Office of Management and Budget, required by the Sequestration Transparency Act of 2012, details the anticipated effects on federal departments and agencies of the budget sequester, scheduled to go into effect in January 2013. The data in the report is generally treated, at least conceptually, as two categories: defense and nondefense, mirroring the original legislative bill establishing the sequestration process.
