Summary Cross-border electricity trading (CBET) can reduce costs, improve reliability, and reduce emissions for all participating countries. Regulatory coordination is essential to making CBET successful, however. This report maps the regulatory issues Bangladesh might address if it elects to develop a national strategy for CBET with its neighbors in South Asia.
