The report contains weekly weighted average prices received and volumes of sales of cheddar cheese based on a survey of manufacturers that sell cheese on a bulk, wholesale basis. Prices and volumes represent 80 to 85 percent of all bulk cheddar cheese sales. Data are reported for 40 lb. blocks, 640 lb. blocks, and 500 lb. barrels. Regional data is published where possible. Weekly reports contain the most recent five weeks of data. |
