Desperate to leave the spotlight of Hollywood, former child actress Cilla McGowan escapes to the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. There she plans to restore the house of her grandmother, screen legend Janet Hardy. A stash of letters she finds in the attic opens a long-buried mystery, and may put Cilla's life in danger as well.
