Summary In July of 64 A.D., Rome was engulfed in a fire which lasted for nine days and destroyed ten of Rome's fourteen districts, including many of the greatest buildings in antiquity. This film follows scientists using forensic techniques to explore different theories about how the fire began -- natural causes, a plot by Emperor Nero, an act of treason by early Christians.
