Summary In January 2019, the Department of Defense released the Missile Defense Review (MDR), which describes the Administration's plans and policies for defenses against ballistic and cruise missiles. In this report, the Congressional Budget Office analyzes the MDR and estimates the potential costs of implementing its recommendations.
