Summary
Describes the mission and activities of the Federal Executive Boards (FEBs) in fulfillment of the role of communications medium between all levels of government. Twenty-eight FEBs operate under the supervision and control of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and are located throughout the U.S. in cities that are major centers of Federal activity. Each board is composed of its host city's Federal field office agency heads and military commanders. The boards' scope of interests includes human resources management, employee incentive and recognition programs, information technology, and emergency preparedness and operations.
