Summary |
After her mother's death Sara Murray learns that her maternal grandparents are Amish, living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Making the trip to meet them, she is shocked to learn someone else has been pretending to be Sara. Tired of the secrets and deceit that seem to follow her, Sara has trouble building new relationships. She meets Brad Fuller who is visiting her grandparents during Christmas, and likes him a lot, but even he seems to pull away from her. When Sara finds an old canning jar hidden in the barn, full of encouraging prayers, can she find a way to forgive the past? -- adapted from back cover |
