Summary |
A reconstruction of the contents of the private library of H.P. Lovecraft, which was dispersed soon after his death. Compiled from various sources, principally a list of books in Lovecraft's house before the dispersal, prepared by his neighbor Mary Spink, and references in Lovecraft's correspondence, as well as copies of books known to have been owned by him. |
Note |
Lists 1005 items. Numbers 982-1005 are addenda to the second edition (2002), which "in the past several years ... have surfaced, either by mentions in Lovecraft's letters or by the emergence of actual copies" (page 15). |
