The Remarks and 4 letters printed at the end of the treatise (p. [76]-104) are an attempt to expose the seditious nature of such works as Mandeville's The fable of the bees.
"A short discourse shewing, that the Christian religion, by implanting charity in the minds of its professors, and the virtues which depend upon charity, restores the harmony of the human faculties, which was broke by original sin, and, by consequence, make that provision even for the temporal happiness of mankind, which no philosophy and no other religion can ever pretend to do": p. [105]-124.
