Summary The report focuses on the three primary areas of study. First, we have continued our work to characterize the electronic properties of nc Si:H materials obtained from United Solar. Second, we carried out extensive studies on the a Si,Ge:H alloys deposited using a hot-wire CVD process that was developed at NREL. In particular, we studied the detailed effects of oxygen on the electronic properties of these materials. Finally, we carried out measurements to characterize the electronic properties of Cu(In,Ga)Se2 (CIGS) films and relate them to the cell performance parameters.
