Summary
This Statistical Brief presents updated evidence on trends in children's coverage for 1996 to 2005 by race/ethnicity status, showing that continued growth in public coverage has been a major factor in improving rates of health insurance coverage for children. These changes have been particularly dramatic for minority children.
