Bibliography Includes bibliographical references (page 6).
Summary Portable sawmill owners quickly recognize the advantage to kiln drying lumber they produce. Having the ability to provide properly kiln-dried lumber opens new market operation of a dry kiln must be economical and simple. A small dehumidification dry kiln constructed and tested in Princeton, WV indicated that costs can be much less than a package kiln, and electricity costs to run the kiln seem to be very reasonable. The kiln did a good job drying maple lumber.
