Summary |
"Handbook of Surface Improvement and Modification contains information on 7 groups of additives and modification processes which determine surface properties of many materials. These additives can modify or improve scratch and mar resistance, improve gloss or flatten the surface, increase or decrease tack and inhibit staining. The mechanisms of damage and protection and property improvements are discussed based on available research data. Additives used to improve properties, their process of selection, and examples of application are also discussed. This is the first book written on this important subject.
