Prod. 5118 (1955; color) is another truly bizarre one: a film within a film as Wilding Pictures takes us behind the making of an industrial short -- except that the actors here are totally confused about the film they're making and the parts they're playing. Actually, the point of it all is supposed to be communication, though it's all so wacky and surreal and downright convoluted that you'll probably need to take notes to figure it all out. |
