Summary In American Graffiti, four teenagers come of age in 1962 on the last summer night before they go off to college, jobs, or the army.
Do the Right Thing: "The hottest day of the year explodes onscreen in this vibrant look at a day in the life of Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. A portrait of urban racial tensions sparked controversy while earning popular and critical praise, "--Container.
Born on the Fourth of July is based on the true story of Ron Kovic, a young man who volunteered for the Vietnam War, was wounded, and returned paralyzed from the mid-chest down. He later became a new voice for those disenchanted with the war.
In this controversial movie, The Last Temptation of Christ, Jesus, as both fully human and fully divine, is viewed as free of sin but subject to all temptations, including sexual ones.
