This book is the result of the work of a team of researchers from different universities in the country who were selected through a national competition in order to participate in a project focused on the analysis of recent production in the social sciences. , within the framework of the Research Program on Contemporary Argentine Society (PISAC). In effect, PISAC assumed the task of comprehensively reviewing the written production of the social sciences in relation to contemporary Argentine society, taking into account the diversity of approaches and perspectives, as well as the regional and institutional heterogeneity of the areas of production. The objective of such a critical review would allow, ultimately, to build exhaustive states of the matter on different thematic cores referring to social, political, economic and cultural aspects of current Argentina.
