Summary
David Innes returns to the land below the Earth crust, with his partner Abner Perry to an untamed wilderness where the sun never sets. He seeks the kidnapped empress Dian. He crosses the Pellucidar, the Land of shadow under a pendant moon, encounters prehistoric beasts and strange peoples.
