The Middleton Middle School fund-raising committee is looking for a theme for this year's event, and bossy Annelise insists on a formal dance, which her father will support with publicity and prizes, but the trouble is none of the boys want to come--so it is up to Victoria to get Annelise to agree to a compromise.
