Even though sixteen-year-old Erin Blake and her best friends Spam and Lysa are ordered not to become involved in any investigations, they look into Spam's boyfriend's past and conduct research to help Erin's uncle Victor and her boyfriend Journey re-examine evidence from the murder trial that sent Journey's father to prison.
