| Summary |
Teenaged Hector works hard, minds his own business, dreams of going to college, and wants to help his family live a better life. All this flees from his mind when Joey, whose older brother, Chavo, the leader of a gang, vows that he is going to kill him someday. Hector finds it impossible to focus on his goals with fear of Joey hanging over him, until one day Chavo gets in a fight with Hector's older brother, Fili, and the aftermath sees Hector and Joey end up in a reform school together. Now, Hector will have to find a way back to his life of hard work and following his dreams. |
