Family agricultures play a crucial role in feeding the world, but they are increasingly threatened by corporate interests. For this book, the World Forum for Alternatives has brought together expert contributors from around the globe, including Samir Amin, Sam Moyo, Joao Pedro Stedile and Utsa Patnaik, to shed light on the revival of peasant struggles for social emancipation, and for meaningful access to land and food.
