"Herb", as he is known in Pittsburg, is the sixth generation from Robert and Elizabeth Mason who lived in Stephney, St. Mary's White Chapel, London England. Their oldest child, Robert Mason, came to America at the age of 17 on the "Adventurer", arriving in Virginia the week of January 10, 1775. The Mason family continued to grow and emigrated through Kentucky to Missouri to Kansas. |
