Summary The ESP Coordinating Center (ESP CC) is responding to a request from the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Women's Health, Reproductive Health Division, for an Evidence Brief on the benefits of doula support for pregnant, birthing, and postpartum Veterans. Findings from this Brief will be used to inform development and piloting of a US Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) doula support program, which is intended to support the best possible maternal and infant outcomes for Veterans.
