Summary |
The great themes of philosophy, recurrently visited by Marxist debates, found a singular formulation in Althusser regarding a question about temporality that, being a condition of materialist thought, is required to produce a concept of historical time, against the grain. of the Time of History. In this process, the problematization of continuous and contemporary time, which impregnates the category of overdetermination, converges with the temporal plurality required by the conception of complex totality, in an unprecedented revitalization of Marxist dialectics. This question, often overlooked by classical readings, today acquires a specific relevance. The question about time is not a philosophizing distraction, but rather an inalienable demand of our present that appears to us to be as unmovable by history as it is shielded from any imagination of future. Children of a time marked by the "crisis of Marxism", we find in this problematization the opportunity for an essential theoretical revitalization in the heat of the demands of the situation. |
