Summary |
Nineteen-year-old Jordana Lebowitz traveled to Europe to attend the trial of Oskar Goening, a former Nazi known as the "bookkeeper" at Auschwitz. As Jordana witnesses this trial against an accused war criminal who was complacent in the deaths of more than 300,000 Jews, she is overcome by the unimaginable cruelty so many, including her grandparents, faced during the Holocaust. |
